Cornell's are an independant jewellery company who where established in Maidstone in 1796 during the reign of George III. One hundred and eighty seven years later we opened a second branch in the historic city of Canterbury, situated close to Christchurch Gate entrance of the Catherdral in the ancient cobbled Buttermarket Square.

Cornell's over the past two hundred years have earned a reputation for high quality jewellery and excellent service to the people of Kent as well as its growing numbers of National and International customers.

We have evolved over the years to cater for changes in lifestyle and fashion, and today sell both high quality classic jewellery complimented by contemporary jewellery by top current designers, but the long term commitment to customer service is a constant goal.

Cornell's employ fourteen full and part-time sales and backroom staff. The longest serving is the Managing director who join the company as an apprentice in 1964, the most recent in 2008. The average time of service with the company being sixteen years. This commitment by our staff to the company and its customers makes us justifiably proud. Maidstone and Canterbury can both offer the services of an in house manufacturing jeweller each with over thirty years experience to help create a bespoke item of jewellery exclusive to you.
